Every week we’ll be introducing one of our expert speakers and this week it’s the turn of Dr. Simon Williams, a renowned expert in service performance improvement specialising in customer satisfaction feedback, service quality enhancement, and exceptional service experiences. Simon will be joining us to speak about ‘data challenges within the housing sector’.
Get to know Dr. Simon Williams
Dr. Simon Williams is the Managing Director of Service Insights, a market research and business consulting firm, where he leads a team dedicated to elevating customer experiences and optimising service performance across various industries. Simon has worked in the social housing sector for over 20 years and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing and a Certified Member of the Market Research Society. His research interests primarily focus upon service performance improvement, and in particular, customer satisfaction feedback, service quality, and improving service experience. He also has a wider interest in how this can be supported through technology and innovation. Simon completed his PhD exploring “The Influence of Customer Satisfaction Feedback on Service Quality and Performance Improvement in English Social Housing” at Leeds University Business School. Simon also holds an Associate Faculty role at Leeds University Business school as a tutor and researcher.
