We have accelerated plans to provide next generation analytics for the UK housing sector, bringing in technology and data pioneer Andrew Barham as our new Chief Technology Officer.
Andrew has almost two decades’ experience delivering technology-fuelled strategic business transformation and innovation across a range of fast moving, regulated, global companies in the UK, EU and the US.
He joins us from Preventx, a large health-tech company where, as Chief Technology Officer, he led the company’s digital transformation programme and delivered a new global data management system. He spearheaded the delivery of a new global platform, transforming the use of data and analytics to drive diagnostic testing recommendations, improve diagnosis and accelerate treatment outcomes for patients.
Andrew’s appointment further strengthens our team as we work with landlords to improve the sector’s use of data to drive decisions, channel investment, unlock capacity and transform customer experience.
Our new CTO will drive plans to use data to define and enhance products, and provide a seamless experience for customers, bringing together disparate data sources and making them accessible to landlords to support them in navigating the current operating environment complexity.
“By joining Housemark, I’m not just looking to scale the business by making sure it taps into the latest data platforms and embraces ML and AI, but I’m excited to be able to innovate for the sector as a whole” says Andrew.
“There’s so much potential for the sector to take significant strides forward when it comes to using data and technology, and to enable landlords to improve tenant experience.”
Rob Griffiths, CEO for Housemark, said:
“We’re incredibly excited to have Andrew on board – his appointment strengthens our technology capability and will also be a benefit to Housemark subscribers and the wider housing sector. We have exciting plans for the next 18 months, simplifying the sectors relationship with data, bringing together disparate data sources, technology platforms and ultimately enabling landlords to deliver more and improve the lives of tenants.”
